This bar has had many iterations and it's back in bar form after a season as bark! This newest iteration pairs the spent grain chocolate base with salty, crunchy corn nuts and is finished with flaky sea salt. It's more craveable than ever! Salty, sweet, crunchy; it's complete.
This bar is made from Tanzania cacao beans, Laughing Monk Brewery spent grain, corn nuts, and finished with flaky sea salt. The cacao brings a nice acidity to balance out the maltiness that the spent grain adds. Pair it with some salty snacks and texture, and you have a bar that begs to be eaten. It goes well with a malty beer or a light glass of red wine (who says beer and wine don’t mix!).
Fun fact: this bar was originally named after a nickname (Piv) I had growing up based on my family name because it means beer maker! Felt appropriate, right?
