This bar is made from Tanzania cacao beans, Laughing Monk Brewery spent grain, corn nuts, and finished with flaky sea salt. The cacao brings a nice acidity to balance out the maltiness that the spent grain adds. Pair it with some salty snacks and texture, and you have a bar that begs to be eaten. It goes well with a malty beer or a light glass of red wine (who says beer and wine don’t mix!).

Fun fact: this bar was originally named after a nickname (Piv) I had growing up based on my family name because it means beer maker! Felt appropriate, right?
